Give Gir his time, like zane said, pm him once ingame, if taht dosen't work ask a staff to pm him, if taht fails, go to the chat box, if that dosen't work, pm him on forums, if that dosen't work pm him on msn, Travis knows what he's doing, when he's not talking to you, he's probabaly helping someone else out or making updates for silgar.
