What kind of "active" do you guys mean exactly. More forum time, Silab activity points, or time logged daily?

You're applying for in-game mod, so your strong point in activity should be in-game.
Personally I feel that if you're in-game more, you will be better off.
Say someone who is very active gets promoted, the more they're online, the better and faster they will learn the ropes.
On the other hand, if you don't log in much, you won't be a good promotion choice, and your effectiveness in the moderator position won't be worthwhile.
I'm not saying that you're inactive, just giving the ups and downs to activity in the moderator position.
