If you hadn't JUST posted a quitting thread, it might have been a possibility. You can't post a thread saying you're bored with the game and you need a break one day, then post a mod app the next day, that's just not how it works. It's a no from me, maybe in the future, but I don't like the logic in that.

Yeah, if gaining power is going to make things more exciting, no. The only extras of becoming a mod is the ability to mute, ban, kick, npc reset, and a crown. Other than that, you're still a regular ol' player with the same incentives to play/help as before.
