They sure are but still noone can demand to get their items back if they lose it. Thats all up to Gir and Britt. The word "donation" is a good coverup for people who own a RSPS, main thing is that it is legall. You are not alloud to run a private server and earn money on it. (jagex and other companys cant sue for much even if that was the case, because their own codings and grafics is only aprox 5% of the servers) HOWEVER if it is a donation its a free gift to the owners and in this case noone can legally do anything about it regardless their oppinion. This thing called donation for items is just a good bussiness way and to get more people donate to make the server go around to be very honset. By calling it a donation is a tripple win for the owners; 1. its legal 2. income 3. nomatter what happens, items fucking up, server crash or anything, they can stand behind the meaning of the word "donation" and look the other way.

If you donate for items or money and you lose it, its too sad but you must look into what the word means and what you did, afterall it is a free gift and it will always be a free gift. Don't let the "donate for money" blind you, always see it for what it means.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
