[COLOR="LightBlue"][SIZE="3"]Honestly, sometimes I find your attitude very whiney as well. When I posted that fake application, multiple people IM'd me saying how you were whining that I didn't deserve it. Not that I care, since I don't want to be a part of the staff, but it really shows what kind of person you are.
For one, it really shows that your desparate for the position. Not to mention, it shows that you would be very hasty in decisions, seeing as you failed to read an application. By the looks of your reasoning as well, you don't seem to want the position to help the community, you want it out of self-interest. I disagree that we need people without experience; in fact, we need people who are actually experienced and know what they're doing.
You know why certain people don't get a shot? They don't do anything to make themselves known, or they simply just don't stand out in the community. I don't think you quite understand how moderators are chosen. They're always chosen based on who is the most experienced & who the staff (mostly Brittany) feels would do the best job. Very seldom is activity ever a variable in choosing a staff member, unless someone is severely inactive.
It's cool that you're active and all, but it really means nothing if you're not bringing anything to the table. Your reasoning was really weak, and I don't see how it reassures us (the reader) that you will actually do a good job. The reasons you gave us were given in just about every single application ever created on this forum. Thing is, if you were actually serious about this, you would not give us a sloppy application to convince us that you're the person for the job.
Sorry, but there are quite a lot of people I consider much more capable for the job.

Honestly, I don't care if you received mod. I honestly didn't like the fact that you never played and you applied. It was my reason for voting no, your reasoning is that every single person who votes no on a app is whiny.

You say people get picked to be a mod by their experience and who the staff feels will do the best job. The staff is letting me know how I would do. And I accept their opinions. Why are you even justifying your no on my fake application? The entire purpose of that application was to see who actually reads applications, and you failed to do so. So whether or not you felt the need to read it, the fact that you failed to read it still stands. You felt that I didn't deserve it, yet you failed to look into it. I only responded once on that application laughing at the people who didn't read it. When I lecture people for voting no on an application, I actually give an explanation and justify myself for why I feel their response didn't quite cut it.
If you really could not take the time to read an application or type one yourself, I really don't see how you are a capable applicant at all. The fact that you're not getting is that I don't want a taste of what you have to offer, because I feel that it's nothing unique from the usual applicant.

Okay, but for the 3958738958758th time, I'm disagreeing with you that people with no experience deserve it more than people with experience.
If you're explaining why you said it, it's justifying your response. It really does say something about your character though. Although I was not going for the position (since I did quit in-game a long time ago), you didn't give me that 'equal' shot that you think everyone is entitled to. That's a very flawed cycle, and is why I don't believe you quite understand what it means to be 'fair'.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
