Dude, helper is a demotion position for mods.
Also you should be able to handle flames as a moderator.

Take a look at some other mod apps. Polls and heavy hate isn't always a factor. Me and Agent both had negative polls and look where he is now. I got staff with a poll 39-42 or something like that.
