Matt's Moderation Application - Matt - 10-08-2012 Please read carefully through and GIVE A REASON for your vote
Name: Matt In-game name: Ags matt Forums name: Ⓜ² Timezone(GMT +/- ?): GMT-6 Do you play over the night? On weekends, I play until about 11:30 on school nights. Average of time you play a week: About 44 hours. Are you active on the forums: Yes. How long have you played SilabGarza: 3 years. What is your Activity Points ingame? [::activity] Have you read the moderator requirements? Yes. Do you have 300 posts REQUIRED to post a moderator application? Yes. NOTE: If you do NOT read the requirements, and you post a moderator application, you will be disqualified as moderator for the rest of your game play on SilabGarza on any and all accounts... DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?: Yes. Explain why you should be mod (100 words minimum, do not be repetitive): I think I should be mod for many reasons. One is that I'm a very active and helpful person in my eyes. A second reason is i think Silabgarza needs a new person in a staff role, Some one who hasn't been a mod before. I think I have changed my additude since my last application. Our current staff team isn't the most active and I can feel I can bring a active, helpful, staff member to the team. I made a thread a while ago about making a clean start with everyone, since then I feel I haven't given a reason for anyone to have anything agaisnt me. In the last 2 months since my last application I feel I have really improved. Honestly.. We need new, active staff members, demotes and premotes are relevant in my mind. I bring no long term experience to the table, but niether did half the staff when they were first premoted. Everyone needs a chance, and I feel this is my chance. This time around I feel alot more comfortable then the last time around. Hope you can consider me for the spot. Happy posting.
I feel I'm a good fit for moderator for many reasons. The first one is I am very helpful and I am pretty active. Lets be honest.. The staff team needs a change. We need new people, not people who just joined, but people who never was given a shot. I feel out of the people who has never been Mod before, I am as good as anyone for the job. My attitude has changed since my last application, which was a big part of my failure in the past. I made a thread a while ago about a clean start with people, and since that I've stayed clear of the drama, which was my hope. I think we need more people that are active, I bring that factor. I know my lack of experience isn't that appealing, but hey, everyone starts without any, I feel this is my change to prove I can handle it. I was nervous last time I applied and I made mistakes, this time i feel comfortable and confident. Thanks for reading. Hope you can consider me. That's not a sammich, no suppawt. Matt's Moderation Application - Matt - 10-08-2012 Darkdanger16 explained his vote ingame. His vote counts. Matt's Moderation Application - My Spear - 10-08-2012 I'm probably second or third because I actually read the 100 words. D: OT: Support, I think you're ready now, and I thought when you posted your other application as well. As to what you said about needing more active staff, I think our staff team (despite half of them being inactive), are doing fairly well. But then again, another active member couldn't hurt, right? Matt's Moderation Application - Bonifah - 10-08-2012 You can't just deny peoples' votes; they don't even have a huge amount to do with getting mod or not. If that's how you're going to be, I wouldn't trust you to deal with people fairly. Matt's Moderation Application - Epic Ben - 10-08-2012 Yes, there are a lot of staff members inactive at the moment (if not more than half). But more importantly, I feel like you're dedicated to SG and would put effort into doing your best for it. You definitely deserve a shot. You're only just 13 and more "mature" than most people your age. I feel like your attitude has improved and you're less annoying than before. BTW, don't ever lose your ability to mess around. Bonifah Wrote:You can't just deny peoples' votes; they don't even have a huge amount to do with getting mod or not. His statement implied that he would have dismissed Felix's vote if Felix hadn't explained why he'd voted that way. It's not that he would dismiss a vote that he didn't agree with. Matt's Moderation Application - dakfighter12 - 10-08-2012 I'm going to say YES. 1. You are very mature for your age (13). 2. You are helpful ingame. 3. You have a good attitude, a positive one. 4. You are easy to talk to and very friendly. ._. 5. Support, nothing More. Haters hate pls. Matt's Moderation Application - Allah Swag - 10-08-2012 Sorry mate. Haven't seen you in-game very much at all lately. I've voted no because most of our current staff is more active than you, contrary to your beliefs. Well sorry. I don't want 15 people voting no when only 2 explain themselves. Most people who vote no on ANY app vote no because they have grudges, not because how they act or conduct themselves. Matt's Moderation Application - Ashton - 10-08-2012 Skiller People Wrote: It's not up to you to say that their votes don't count though. Everyone has their own reason for voting what they want, who are you to say that their votes can't count because they don't explain themselves. |
