That's not as bad as all of the bullshit that comes along with a crown.
Helping is normally the easy part.
Then just continue what you've been doing, but without the crown.
u realize how hard it is 2 abuse without a crown?

If the server doesn't need a mod but a helper, i am up for it. Not doing it for the ban/kick/mute power. Main reason i would want mod would be to help in help calls, i don't find myself to like or dislike punishing people, but of course, if punishment is need i will supply it.
So, was trying to say: Naa, i can handle helping 85% of the time.

Have to agree with Aj here. I don't think you really know what a moderator actually does.
You get allot of hate and bullshit towards you, ofcourse people will be nice to you but still. Theres allot of haters, especially when you punish them.
A mod isn't just there to help like Aj said, he is there to control the server.
I'm not to sure if you're ready to be a moderator, thats why i'm holding my vote for now.

Well even though the first job of a moderator is to keep the server in line, the vast majority of work that mods do is helping out others. For every appeal or report I handle, I usually do around 15 help calls.
When I was a player, I got maybe one request for help every two days. As a mod, I get them about every 5-10 minutes, especially from those that get help, and then add me and pm me next time they need it again.
Handling reports is also relatively simple. You teleport to the person, find out whatever evidence they have, judge whether or not it breaks a rule and to what degree, and then do the appropriate action. Besides, I've noticed that when a report shows up ingame, at least a third of the staff members online teleport to the reporter. When a help call shows up, there is usually only one mod that teleports, and sometimes we just completely miss them >.>
Peter's not saying that he dislikes handling reports or only sees them as a minor part of the job. He's just saying that he enjoys helping others and that is one of his strengths. He hasn't dealt with punishing players enough to pass judgement, but all of us know that he is capable of handling them if (when?) the time comes.

I Read it, and if i gave out cookies, id give you one.
I Completely agree. Peter will learn to keep the server under control as his job comes, and yes dealing with reports and being able to judge whether or not the evidence is viable enough for possibly a punishment will come as he earns his job.
Helping others is another quality of a moderator, but it isnt the whole Job.
Keeping people in line and learning about them as a person and possibly making the connection with the people you are helping/working with is all part of the job, and a big part of it for that matter.
Mod is a People Job. You handle the people in the server, keep them in line, and earn mutual respect.
From what i have seen, Peter is more than capable of handling People, with his likable personality, and love for the server and meeting new people and cooperating with them.

I think you would be a great addition to the staff team. You are smart and very involved in the community.
