People who donated for it would have most likely sold it and got a fair bit of money for it, depending on the price at the time.
Now that you've removed it, they can show you transaction id's and get it AGAIN, after theyve already sold it. That means they basically got a fuck load of items AND MORE DHAI.

Know what im saying? For example:
They sell dhai for an ags before you remove it. Then you remove it, they claim it, then they sell for another ags.
They now have 2 AGS.
