His activity:

It's a joke, an obvious one at that..

His number of infractions:

The number of times I've seen higher ranked members of staff break rules on these forums is ridiculous and I guarantee that if they were a regular player, many of them would be banned by now. You can thank their "immunity" for that.

His poorly constructed application:

A lot of the staff that have ever been promoted have been without even making an application, so it obviously means little when deciding who is promoted and who isn't.

His activity:

I'd rather a moderator that plays for 1 hour a day and actually contributes than a moderator who plays 10 hours a day just sitting at dzone/jail shining their new crown.

I don't know Guli, and from first impressions I can't say I like him either. However, even though his application looks to be a joke, that doesn't mean that he should be completely out of the picture.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

There's still those of us who despite having 'immunity', still follow the rules and set an example. What other higher-ranked staff members do have nothing to do with how well a user can follow rules. If we were to constantly make exceptions for users we liked, the staff would be at least 2 times worse than it is now. That's basically saying since a portion of the staff is corrupt, we might as well let the rest of it be corrupt, too.

I'm not saying you in particular, but the majority of people do exactly what is in red. Besides, I don't see what this has to do with who we like. I already stated that I'm not very fond of Guli, but to disregard him completely for those reasons is quite stupid.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
