Seeing all the amazing GFX work on the forums, I want to start doing some GFX, I've done little to nothing at school. So at the moment I just want to get my PS ready, I've been loading a few brushes and whatnot, so what're some plug-ins I should have?

/Links pls.

I've been an expert in Photoshop for 3 years, almost 4.

As a beginner, do not worry about brushes, textures, filters, adjustments, masks, or plug-ins. Not until you know how to work with your document and the tools, layer styles, and everything else. Then you can work on clipping masks, adjustment layers, filters, and plug-ins.

Although you shouldn't work with them yet, I believe you should try the plug-ins labeled "Topaz."

Topaz Adjust is a very good plug-in to use to make your signature more appealing and fix the lighting/shadows of your piece.

As for brushes, use Deviant Art and look for some cool looking brushes. I recommend using them as effects, rather than using them for backgrounds.

Focus mainly on obtaining renders, stocks, c4ds, and effect c4ds. These will be your main signature-creating content. Plug-ins are not usually used to create signatures from scratch, they're used to touch-up signatures for those who are pretty experienced with what their signature is supposed to look like.

I haven't been posting much on here, but I used to be okay at creating signatures. As for knowing art, I'm pretty experienced with that. If you ever need any help with making your signature/art look nicer, send me a PM and I'll try to help you out as best as I can.
