Make people apply for ::yell. Make them prove they are worthy of such a privleage. If they abuse it in any way they get ip'd. Easy as that. And as for people giveing 1-5 word post and expecting to get that counted as a post? Fuck them. They can go on and actually commute. That's the point in doing that. to set up the community. I think it's a great idea to go ahead and choose to decide who gets it and who doesn't.

I don't get the point about everyone having multiple sigs either...Some of the stuff is actually entertaining, but then other things are just plain stupid.

In my point of view, I don't see ::yell as an actual priviledge. I think any registered person to the forums is eligible to use the command. Some people would really liek to have it for selling items. As I would love to have it, but your server, your rules. I'm perfectly fine with 20 posts. It really isn't that hard taking time to learn more about the server and be active in the server's community. Yeah, people do just post "Nice job" or whatever to gain post count, that's not right. Everyone should be taking time to post something worthy of being applied to a thread. If you don't have anything achieving to post, then don't post at all.

The 20 post requirement is hurting the community by flooding the forums with spam and making everyone's panties in a wad.
By removing the 20 post requirement, there would be an influx of people using ::yell. This would cause even more confusion, frustration, and nuisance to everyday players.
So why not just strip that privilege from us. It's not like we lose our ability to talk to eachother. We still have friends lists and public chat. Minus the whole, announcing your stupid comments to the entire server, what's the use of ::yell? why not limit the number of listeners to only the people around you. This can be achieved by removing ::yell from the public's ability.[/COLOR]

if you want to cut down the spamming take off the 20 post for ::yell thats the reason they are spamming the forums and what not. and for the sig problem the owner can add a limit number of pics to be allowed in sigs that helps cut down both problems

@Blinky I am not on the GFX crew I havnt tried to get on and I only make sigs on my free time now a days so im not sure so I cant answer your question
