Autobuying
Autobuying out the shops definitely needs to not happen, but it seems like the 5k max on any items that are bought from shops is a real bitch. Or am I reading into this wrongly and that isn't how it is? Don't really play in-game.

Would it not be better to set a 1k of supplies bought cap on the shops for every 5 hours or something?

Not saying this is a good idea but why not put a really high amount of supplies in the shop (or even a practically infinite amount (2.147b)) and make each item really expensive?

I like that idea, it would solve the whole auto buyers and mercher problem.

Although that's a great idea, you have to remember not everyone is rich and can afford paying a really high amount for runes, sharks, etc.

New players pk for money.

didnt he mean to add an infinate amount of that item and make it a minimal amount of money? say like 100gp per shark, rune or whatever. if that was the case you wouldnt have to be rich to afford any of those items. Causing people to not be able to merch those items.
Although that would affect people who skill for cash pretty heavily it may just be best to deal with it tbh.

My idea was actually to have the items expensive but thinking about it now... what's the problem with having them cheap?

People wouldn't be able to merch them because people could just buy them from the shops (so the shops won't be bought out) and the shops would never run out of supplies anyway because there'd be such a high amount of them.

If we do that to food, we make Cooking and Fishing a less appealing skill for beginners/skillers. I don't mind doing it to runes since little to no one does Runecrafting for money.

Thats true but honestly i dont think ive ever seen anybody fishing just to make profit. If so its a pretty rare occurance. I agree with the runes part since nobody does rc for profit but nobody really does it for fishing either. Even if this was to only happen with runes thats still better than the 5k thing thats going on now imo.

Exactly.

Skillers have no way to make money if we make them super cheap. They are the price they are to help people who strictly skill have SOME way to make money.

Plus, who would RC/fish/cook if it wasn't profitable at all? Would be a pointless skill.

I get that people fish for money.

But very few people runecraft for money. Maybe none at all.

Edit: Is it even possible to runecraft for money?
