Explain why you should be mod (100 words minimum, do not be repetitive): So, why didn't I make a mod app earlier? Basically, throughout my time at SilabGarza I have been skilling, improving and creating pages/tables for the wiki and helping people. I didn't consider being a moderator as necessary in order to help people, or even as one of my goals. I have no experience moderating, but I have a lot of experience playing the server and know almost everything there is to know about it. I know how to deal with nearly any situation thrown at me and how to diffuse situations in which tempers are boiling and people are raging. Even though I have never been a staff member before, I hope my experience will lead to fewer mistakes or even none at all.
Now that I'm not skilling as much as I used to, I have time to not only help people but also to moderate (I'm also very active on the chatbox). I find it sad that help calls are often not answered due to the fact that staff members simply aren't online, or in some cases are busy/inattentive. Frequently, in the morning/early afternoon there are no staff members online (probably because most of them are asleep.) I deal with a lot of people pming me for advice as I always answer promptly, fully and I make sure that my response is of quality. I would hate to infect any mind with bad or lacking information and I have what some would call a compulsion to give all relevant details in order to better (even if slightly) the collective knowledge of the SilabGarza community. Also, the people that I share information with will probably pass it on to others in the future.
If I came across a situation in which I had to make a decision involving banning or muting someone, I would first investigate and ensure that justice is served accurately instead of handing out punishments without much thought (as this could lead to someone paying for another's crime). Having said that, I am aware of how deceptive and sneaky people can be here, and I would take people's views into account but would not let any of them affect my final decision. Flaming and insults don't really have an effect on me any more and I would behave as objectively as possible regardless of past interaction I may have experienced with someone.
I spend most of my time just standing around talking to people while I train or mming stakes while I wait for herbs to grow. Now that I have completed my goal (apart from farming of course), I have a lot of time on my hands which could be spent handling situations that only a moderator could resolve. Really, I just want to get more involved in SilabGarza.
Lastly, some of you will know me as one of the people to go to when in need of help. A few will know me as the one that makes bad jokes and occasionally makes you laugh, and a few will think of me as a terrible troll that skills too much. Whatever you think, I assure you that if I am given this position, I will not disappoint.
Anything else you would like us to know: I didn't bother altering the font, position or colour of the text much, as I find this complicates the reading process.
Oh and since being hacked I've made sure my account is absolutely secure with daily virus scans and protection. It won't happen again. This is a repost of my old app.
