[COLOR="white"]For the past few years, I've played and learned about SG. During this time, my knowledge and expertise has grown.
My playing experience has been very complete, touching upon every aspect of the game, whether it be hybriding at Greens/PkBox, killing monsters for MoTW, or grinding farming to reach the max total. I feel that, because I have experienced so many parts of SilGar, my ability to help others has grown as it only can through experience. My pking experience would help fill the role of the PK mod with Taylor and Eetu, while PvM and skill balance out the knowledge to make a complete picture of SG.
I try to view situations as objectively as possible. Having come from every corner of the community, I can understand both sides of a conflict. As it was said in Schindler's List, "They fear us because we have the power to kill arbitrarily. A man commits a crime, he should know better. We have him killed and we feel pretty good about it.....that's not power, though, that's justice. That's different than power. Power is when we have every justification to kill – and we don't." I feel this quote describes how I would approach the moderator position. The law and justice must be upheld, but at the same time, power is not to be abused. It is not to ban and destroy people for fun. It is to help everyone else, to hold back the whip of punishment when it's not absolutely needed. I would certainly enforce the rules, but power, the power I would not abuse.
I also enjoy helping others. When somebody asks me for an xfer or instructions on something, I enjoy pointing them in the right direction. To see new players grow with your guidance is a wonderful thing to experience, and I hope to see more of it if I get promoted.
