Ok to start off you need to make a new Project.
400x250 or w/e you choose.
[Image: scaled.php?server=72&filename=newkd.jpg&res=medium]

Then choose the text you want.
[Image: scaled.php?server=651&filename=artnt.jpg&res=medium]

Now what we want to do, is to make a reflection.
To do that you need to duplicate the layer by holding Ctrl+J.
[Image: scaled.php?server=406&filename=duplicate...res=medium]

Hold Ctrl+T to Transform and repeat what it says below.
[Image: scaled.php?server=204&filename=transform...res=medium]

On the duplicated layer, add a layer mask. To do that do the following:
[Image: scaled.php?server=204&filename=maskyt.jpg&res=medium]

Then use the Gradient tool on the Layer Mask with the following settings.
[Image: scaled.php?server=215&filename=gradientt.png&res=medium]

Now click, while holding the shift button, and hold from the bottom to the top of the first main text layer.

And should look like this.
[Image: scaled.php?server=717&filename=layermask.jpg&res=medium]

Then you have finished.
If you want to add a transperent background, delete the background layer.

Final Outcome:

I knew how to do this already but it should be useful for newer photoshop users. Nice guide 9/10

Tutorial : Reflection - The Fallacy - 03-06-2012

Hmm, since I'm new. I'll give it a go and see if it turns out like that. Will do it after I get some sleep in me though. I'll post my results afterwards as well, so you can laugh at it.
