Let's be honest Pat. You're a very mature and intelligent guy. You know how to handle things good and you're nice to talk with. I think you would be doing a good job as moderator but there is something preventing me to support this.
I think because you only joined 4 months ago what shouldn't really be a problem though.
I think it's better for you to wait a few more months and then re-apply again.
Get to know the community better, go help some more people ingame and when you think you're ready then re-apply.
I know you'll get there eventually.

Ever since you came here you had this sense about you that wasn't like everyone else who comes here. It was rare and quite nice. Your posts weren't filled with cliche stuff like "hey im new i wanna be rich in game". Your posts made sense, and they were always fun to read. That's a plus that I personally look for when I read mod apps. Even though I don't play in game anymore, I still think you'd be a great addition to the team. You're in Finland for holiday vacation and that's expected. I sincerely hope you get the position.

Oh, and to the little puppy dog bandwagoners that will probably storm this thread: If you're gonna say no, say why and make it a good reason. Neglect the little things and focus on his personality with everyone. Not just you.

[COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]I'm not entirely sure about this. In my opinion, we get along great together, you're really friendly on forums, and I've never had the feeling you are quite new. But I have to say that because you're new, you might not have gained people's trust yet (I'm talking about people from other timezones who barely have seen you online (play over night sometime to chat with them and show them who you are)). Also, 20k activity points isn't a lot. You're barely online, but that's because you're on holiday, I assume. And also the fact we got a quite large staff team at the moment, makes me doubt.

On the other hand, your application was very good, and enjoyable to read. Your posts on forums are really put thought in, unlike 99% of the other posts, including some of mine ^^. I questioned if your activity would be good enough for a moderating position, but I think that's okay in your case. You seem to be here for the long run.

I want to wish you all luck, but I'm yet undecided. Therefor I'm holding my vote, I would like to see more from you in game. We have the same timezone, so that should be okay.
