Instead of only using 4 opacity levels for the icon, use at least 10. For the first slide, use 90, then 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, then back up to 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100.

That way they look more like this, smooth


And less like this, choppy
