It's very easy just follow these steps..[/size]

First open a new file

Then place the text you desire

[COLOR="Orange"]Now what we want to do, is to make a reflection
Select the text you want to reflect and hit CTRL+J
[=DUPLICATE LAYER][/COLOR]

Now hit CTRL+T [=TRANSFORM], and do as shown here

Now click that button, this will add a layer mask

Now use the gradient tool on this layer mask, with these settings

Now click, while holding the shift button, and hold from the bottom to the middle of the text!
It should look like this

[COLOR="Plum"]Now if you want a transparent background, disable the eye on the background layer

You could just use the erase brush or cut it off but that doesn't give the same effect.
Anyway I probably should have used a better font on this tutorial, that would have given a nicer look.. :p[/COLOR]

My outcome, I tried to add some wave effect and sh*t but deleted it cuz it looked bad
