People can have a successful application after one failed recently.
Look at Ben. Hes old one was made 1 month and 3 days before his newer one.
My App was made 1 month and 20 days give or take since my last.

And I'm either on forums or Ingame almost 6 hours a day. I get home from school at 3:30 and I don't go to bed until 11:30,
And i don't play it the whole time.

Yes, but Ben's application wasn't declined because he wasn't ready or Britt didn't want him. It wasn't even his fault. He had gotten hacked, which caused his app to be declined. You can't use his example.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

You are relying on this one chance that you would be given moderator to find out how you would do.
That being said, you've basically posted this application to just let whomever is reading it, know you want the position.
Applications are utilized to present the applicants knowledge and previous experience to the employer.
Basically what I'm trying to say is make it apparent to not only yourself but others that you can do the job.

I've not yet come to a decision on this application, I'll watch it nonetheless, as I do others.[/COLOR]

I think I should be mod for many reasons. One is that I'm a very active and helpful person in my eyes.

We don't care how you see yourself, we care how others see you. Try looking at yourself from another person's point of view.

Why should it be you? I'm not saying that we don't need one, but I'm saying what do you bring to us? Don't answer with 'I'm helpful', please. Everyone can pretend to be helpful. Tell us why you should fill the active staff spot.

People are still voting no, however, so you need to find out why and fix those reasons.


You have a general lack of confidence. I'm not saying be cocky, but at least show that you really want this position.

You seem to bring up activity more than attitude. If someone's played for 500 days worth of activity points, and is still a crappy character in general, it doesn't mean they'll get mod. Prove to us that you actually have a good attitude.

Worst of all, you said you don't count people's votes if they don't explain why they voted that way. If you are staff, or even a normal player, people's opinions should always matter to you. Obviously people vote 'No' for a reason, so find out that reason and fix it. But saying that anyone who refuses to answer why they voted that way is, in my opinion, what ruined your entire application. You need to care about every player, every opinion, not just the vocal ones.

Even if you're running for President, people will still vote 'No' if they don't like you. But pretending those people don't exist is going to cost you the race.

Anyways, my vote's a no, not yet.

However, if you manage to fix your problems, I can definitely see you becoming an extremely good staff member in the future.

Matt, I want to let you know, although we are not that close as a friend, but I have very strong impression of you.

Many times, you have proven yourself worthy for a staff position. You are actually one of the few players who display positive attitude. You are somewhat worthy of my respect for a long time. You are a helpful and optimistic person. You have displayed certain attitudes and actions that makes me desire to support you.


However, I am pretty disappointed with the kind of explanation you wrote, seemed to me that you rushed it. If you are fine with giving a better detailed explaination of your qualification. 100 is not enough, I want to be moved as an audience, then I will be willingly give you my fullest support.


With regards to some voters who voted no without explaining their reasons or even bother to give a proper and valid reasoning, just die pls. I clearly know that some of them didn't even bother to read it throughly. Clearly, some of them are people who had their moderator application declined and gets sore over it in my opinion.

Matt, just re-present your explaination again. A true staff potential is a humble person who accepts criticism. I'll be more willing to click Yes.
